GeoSteering: Formatting a Selected Element
Style, Fill, Label, and Survey Points are one idea, not four: click something on the plot to select it (a formation layer, a top marker, a trajectory, a log curve), then use these tools to change how that selected element looks. None of them do anything until something is selected.
Style
Sets the selected item's line properties:
| Control | What it sets |
|---|---|
| Color | The item's line color |
| Thickness | The item's line thickness |
| Appearance | The stroke style (e.g. solid, dashed) |

Fill
Sets how the selected item is colored in. Two pages, navigated via a link at the bottom of the panel:
-
Solid Color: a flat fill color picker.
-
Conditional Formatting: fill rules based on a condition (e.g. value ranges getting different colors), rather than one flat color.
If the selected item is a log curve, a Log Settings section appears above the fill pages as well.

Label
A single click cycles the selected item's label position. For layers and tops, it cycles Right, then Left, then Hidden, then back to Right. For other item types, it toggles between Right and Hidden.

Survey Points
Adds small detail markers along the selected item, with their own settings:
| Control | What it sets |
|---|---|
| Show | Toggles the detail markers on or off |
| Color | The markers' color |
| Thickness | The markers' size/thickness |
