Agents are GeoEngine's specialist AI workers. Each one has a defined purpose, accesses a specific set of data sources, and consumes credits per operation.

Opening the Agents Tab

From the GeoEngine page, click the Agents tab (or go to /geoengine?tab=agents).

Each agent card shows: its name, a status badge (Active or Coming soon), a short description, the data sources it accesses, and its cost per use.

Chat Agent

Status: Active | Cost: 10 credits per turn

Conversational AI with full project context: wells, logs, trajectories, and field intelligence. Ask anything about your well or field.

Accesses: Project data, Field intelligence, Chat history.

Field Intelligence Agent

Status: Active | Cost: 100 credits per generation

A full field research pipeline. It searches academic, regulatory, and industry sources to synthesise a structured intelligence report. Results are cached for 30 days, so regenerating the same field within that window doesn't cost you credits again.

Accesses: Web search, Field databases, LLM synthesis.

Well Analyst Agent (Coming soon)

Status: Coming soon | Cost: TBD

Planned for deep analysis of well data: trajectory quality, log interpretation, anomaly detection, and formation evaluation across your project wells.

Planned access: Trajectories, LWD/MWD logs, Formation tops.

Geosteering Agent (Coming soon)

Status: Coming soon | Cost: TBD

Planned for real-time geosteering decision support: target zone tracking, look-ahead prediction, and steering recommendations based on live well data.

Planned access: Real-time WITSML, Geological model, Trajectory.

Using an Agent

Neither agent has its own standalone interface on this hub page. You use them from inside a project:

Open a project.
Go to the GeoEngine tab in that project's left icon sidebar.
Chat, or request a Field Intelligence report, from there.
