GeoMaster is a cloud-native geosteering and drilling-data platform. It runs entirely in the browser — no local software install — and brings well trajectory, real-time logs, formation tops, and drilling data into one workspace that a team can view and edit together.
Core Workspace: GeoSteering
The centre of GeoMaster is the GeoSteering cross-section — a real-time 2D view of the well trajectory against the geological model, with:
-
Live and imported log curves plotted alongside the trajectory
-
Formation tops and layer boundaries
-
Two depth-reference display modes: TVT (True Vertical Thickness) and TST (True Stratigraphic Thickness)
-
GeoMatch, a correlation tool for depth-shifting and matching formation boundaries between wells
-
Version History, so past states of the interpretation aren't lost as the well is steered
-
Support for a separate Well Plan (the pre-drill planned trajectory) plotted alongside the actual surveyed path, for plan-vs-actual comparison
Data gets into the workspace either by importing files (LAS, CSV, Excel, or typed directly into a spreadsheet grid) or by streaming in live over WITSML.
DrillTracker
A live view of real-time drilling parameters (rates, offsets, tool face, and similar station data) alongside the trajectory — for monitoring what's happening at the bit as it happens, not just after the fact.
GeoEngine — the AI Layer
GeoEngine is GeoMaster's built-in AI assistant, scoped to your project data (wells, logs, trajectories, and field context). It's organised as a set of agents, each with a defined job:
-
A Chat Agent for conversational Q&A grounded in your project's actual data
-
A Field Intelligence Agent that researches and synthesises a field intelligence report from academic, regulatory, and industry sources
-
Additional agents (well analysis, real-time geosteering decision support) are on the roadmap
GeoEngine usage is metered by credits, tracked per account and visible from the Dashboard.
WITSML & Data Integration
GeoMaster connects directly to WITSML servers to stream real-time drilling and log data, and includes tools to browse WITSML objects, manage connections, and monitor data metrics — so live rig data flows straight into the same workspace as imported historical data.
Projects, Wells, and Collaboration
-
A Well holds the physical well's identity (title, operator, location, elevation) and can have multiple wellbores.
-
A Project is where geosteering happens — each project is built on exactly one wellbore, with one trajectory. A different trajectory (a sidetrack, a re-plan, a separate scenario) gets its own project.
-
Projects are shareable — invite collaborators, transfer ownership, and work on the same interpretation as a team in real time.
Storage and Account
-
Drive — built-in file storage for documents, imported source files, and project assets.
-
Plans are tiered (starting from a Free plan), with WITSML streaming and extra Drive storage available as metered add-ons on top of a plan.
Who It's For
-
Geosteering geoscientists and petrophysicists
-
Directional drilling engineers
-
Wellsite geologists and mudloggers
-
Independent consultants, small operators, drilling contractors, and teams who need a shared, real-time geosteering workspace without desktop software or file-based handoffs
